I.OBJECTVES
By the end of the lesson students will be able to understand a picture story about Ba’s daily routines to practise the simple present tense
1.Knowledge:
-Vocabulary: take a shower, eat a big breakfast, have lunch, go to bed, start >< finish
- Language : What time does he get up ? He gets up at 6.00
What time do you go to school ? I go to school at 7.00
2.Skill: Four skills but focus on reading skill
3. Attitude: Ss like talking about their daily routine.
II. PREPARATION
Teacher: Text book and powerpoint
Students: Ss’ books , workbook.
III.ANTICIPATED PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS.
- With class 6C : Ss may have confusion in changing from the first personal pronoun into the third personal pronoun so the teacher will give more examples

I.WARM –UP (5’-IW)
* Game: Pelmanism
- The teacher devides the class into two teams. Each team will open one number on the firrst line and one letter on the second line to find a right phrase

I.Vocabulary (8`)
-Using powerpoint for eliciting new Vocabulary
- Ss read the Vocab chorally then individually
- Checking the Vocab
V.C.T : Rub out and remember
*.Guessing T/F (3`- PW)
+ The teacher sets the scene
- Display a picture of Ba on the sceen and say: This is Ba. He is telling us about his daily routines.
- Display the statements on the screen
- Ask students to work in pairs to decide if the statements are true or false
- Write Ss` guesses on the board

- start (v): bắt đầu
- finish (v): kết thúc
- have lunch (v): ăn trua

*Checking predictions (5`)
- Ask Ss to open their books on P.56 to read the text about Ba silently (3 minutes) then check their predictions.
- Call on two students to correct false sentences
*Notes (5`):
- Get Ss to pay attention to the notes
- Ss copy the notes into their notebooks
* Complete the table (5`)
- Ask Ss to read the text again then complete the table in Ex2/p.57
- T.shows the poster on the screen.
- Call on one student to go to the board to complete the table .
-Ask Ss to check the times of Ba’s action
III.Practice with a partner (8`)
-Get Ss to practise asking and answering about the time of Ba’s activities and themselves basing on the table above.
-The teacher models first – Ss repeat
-Ss work in pairs or practise
